The Blanket-Stitched Folky Vest was born from transformation and reuse. Inspired by the accidental shrinking of a much-loved bright orange jumper, this one-of-a-kind piece reimagines what might otherwise be considered waste into something purposeful and beautiful.
 
The vest combines a vintage blue wool felt blanket with panels from the shrunk pure new wool jumper, unified by hand-worked blanket-stitched edges using pure new wool yarn. These bold, tactile stitches celebrate craft, repair, and folk tradition while framing the garment with warmth and character.
